Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Bearings website at bearings.health, run by Bearings Health. By using the site, joining the waitlist, or taking our survey, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

This is our marketing and research site, not the Bearings product. When the product launches it will have its own terms, and those will govern your use of it.

Not medical advice

Bearings is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on this site is a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Always talk to a doctor about your symptoms, and never delay seeking care because of something you read here. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number right away.

The waitlist and survey

Joining the waitlist and taking the survey are voluntary. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the product or any particular timeline or pricing. When you share survey responses, you give us permission to use them, including in anonymized and aggregated form, to research and build Bearings. Please share only your own experience, and do not submit personal or health information about other people.

Acceptable use

Please use the site as intended. Do not attempt to disrupt or break it, access it in unauthorized ways, scrape or harvest its content in bulk, or use it to break the law or infringe someone else's rights.

Our content and rights

The content on this site, including text, design, logos, and the Bearings name, belongs to Bearings Health or its licensors, and the methodology behind Bearings is proprietary. You may read and share links to the site, but you may not copy, reproduce, or reuse its content for your own commercial purposes without our permission.

Third-party services

Our waitlist and survey forms are provided by Tally, and the site is hosted by a third-party provider. When you use those services through our site, their own terms and policies also apply. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

The site is provided as is

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will always be available, error-free, or complete. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bearings Health is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site. Some places do not allow certain limits on liability, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Changes

We may update these terms as Bearings grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
