Privacy Policy

Last updated July 10, 2026

This policy explains how Bearings Health handles information on our website at bearings.health. We wrote it to be read, not to hide behind. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@bearings.health and we will explain it plainly.

This site is our marketing and research site. It is not the Bearings product. When the product launches it will have its own account terms and privacy policy covering health information, and this policy does not govern it. Nothing on this site collects health data.

Who we are

Bearings is built by Bearings Health, based in Baltimore, Maryland. For anything in this policy, you can reach us at hello@bearings.health.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us, plus the basic technical information any website receives.

  • Waitlist details. If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you enter so we can tell you when Bearings is ready.
  • Survey responses. If you take our patient survey, we collect the answers you provide. The survey is anonymous unless you choose to leave your email at the end. Please do not include names or other identifying details about yourself or other people in your written answers.
  • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our host records standard technical information such as your approximate location, browser type, and the pages you visit, which helps keep the site secure and working. This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking analytics.

How our forms work

Our waitlist and survey forms are provided by Tally, a third-party form tool. When you submit a form, your answers are handled by Tally on our behalf and may be exported into the spreadsheet tools we use to review and analyze responses. Your use of those forms is also subject to Tally's own privacy policy.

How we use information

We use waitlist emails to notify you about early access and product news. We use survey responses to understand how patients describe their symptoms and to shape what we build. We use technical data to operate, secure, and improve the site. That is the extent of it.

What we never do

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share information only with the service providers that help us run this site (such as our forms provider and our hosting provider), and only so they can perform that work for us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of people using the site.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you joined the waitlist and want off, email hello@bearings.health and we will remove you. Because survey responses are anonymous unless you left an email, we may need that email to find and remove your specific response.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist emails until you ask us to remove them or until they are no longer needed. We keep survey responses for as long as they are useful to our research, and we may retain anonymized or aggregated insights indefinitely.

Where data is handled

Bearings Health operates in the United States, and information collected through this site is processed in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, you are sending your information to the United States.

Children

This site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Bearings grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will do our best to make it easy to notice.
